Stay at Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore – 3 Reasons

1. “The ambience is very cosy, the staff is very very courteous and helpful. Generally, the food is good but pretty expensive for dining there frequently. Access to shopping is very good. The place is very clean and well kept but certain parts of the hotel needs to be upgraded like the studio family room I was given facing the car park. Good for tourists as well as easy access to Orchard Road and food outlets. Great for shoppers. I would recommend my friends to stay here when they are on holiday. The rates can be pretty high though for tourists.”

2. “I needed to contact Agoda Customer Services to be reassured that the Hotel had indeed been booked. Even now, I have no idea about why the Hotel had no record of our booking, and it is almost as if by buying online and receiving slightly reduced rates, the Hotel cared less about us. Also, for those who do not like walking, it is a 5 minute walk to the MRT stop at Orchard, which is OK on the way out as it is mostly downhill, but on the way back, tiring.”

3. “This is the ‘other’ nostalgia hotel in Singapore, the one when you can’t afford Raffles or the Fullerton, and the one with the very best location just behind Orchard Road and a very short walk to the Orchard MRT. Well mannered and dignified but not in the least snooty, something the other two nostalgia hotels do suffer from. The Goodwood Park is the more accessible for this.”

At the end of the day, not every hotel is perfect, but if you want a great spot near to food, shopping and entertainment, Goodpark Hotel Singapore is worth a consideration!
