MichaelMurf.com recently went live at the bidding of Michael Murphy. It is one of several web sites that Michael has been involved with publishing. For now it is a basic web site developed on the Wordpress platform, with a slight bent towards substance over form. It utilizes the Thesis theme. Michael also has been involved in the development of several more complex web sites as well.
Michael Murphy relocated to the state of California and now lives in Santa Monica by the famed beach. He focuses in the video industry. His main focus at this time is on providing companies and others an application to create streaming video stores that allows them to get their videos to different screens, including televisions. Michael also is an expert in marketing homes on the web utilizing social media methods. He is an expert public speaker.
Michael Murphy graduated from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business – the number 1 undergraduate business school in the United States – as the number one student in his undergrad program in 2004. He also completed an MS in Accountancy from ND’s Mendoza College, again graduating number 1 in his class. After school, Michael won a noteworthy placement at the FASB for one year. He then moved to Denver, CO to pursue web-based real estate advertising, where he became a Certified Public Accountant and licensed real estate agent.
Michael’s pursuits are wide ranging. Originally a recognized tennis and basketball athlete, he now focuses on cycling, triathlon, and yoga. He especially enjoys spinning up mountains on his bicycle. In the cold months he likes to ski telemark style. Michael has been to many different locations, including Austria, England, and many others. He would like to travel more in the future, as well as deepen his spirituality.
